Everyone at Wheaton is excited to welcome Kevin Miller to the team! Kevin Miller joined the van line on September 19 as the new Vice President of Operations, announcing the retirement of former chief executive Ron Borkowski, who will retire from the working world in late 2022 after more than 30 years at Wheaton.
Ron has big shoes to fill, so Wheaton had our hands full looking for his successor. We are fortunate to have found Kevin, a homewares veteran with decades of industry experience who works for some of the largest companies and van networks.
Kevin spent the past eight years at Berger Moving and Storage, the largest agent in the Allied system, and held leadership positions at Guardian Atlas, Atlantic Atlas and Suddath United. In his many years in the moving and warehousing industry, Miller has done it all: P&L management, forecasting, operations, safety, fleet management, driver recruitment and warehousing.
“We are in an excellent position to continue the van line with the experience and knowledge of our Operations staff and the new leadership of Kevin Miller,” said AJ Schneider, Wheaton World Wide Moving President. “Kevin’s wealth of knowledge and experience in the moving and warehousing industry will help our team maintain the highest level of service.”
Over the next three months, Kevin and Ron will work closely so that Ron can pass on the institutional knowledge Kevin needs to move Wheaton and our clients forward.
“I can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to getting to know the home office team as well as the agents that make up the Wheaton network. Working for one of the most respected van lines in the industry is a great opportunity,” said Kevin.
Originally from upstate New York, Kevin and his family have been home to Fishers, Ind.
